FINAL PROGRAM NOW PUBLISHED - LAST UPDATE SEPTEMBER 13th 2015
Topical Meeting on Osteogenesis Imperfecta - Oslo, Norway 2015
“Soft Tissues & Soft Issues – OI in adults is more than fractures”
ABOUT THE SEMINAR
At OI conferences we hear a lot about genetics, surgery and bisphosphonates.
The focus is often on treatment strategies for children with OI. But what happens when the child grows up, fractures less and the pediatrician is no longer around? At this seminar we will focus on the health issues of adult people with OI, especially the non-skeletal problems. Perhaps it will leave us with more questions than answers, but we hope the seminar will spark an interest in the matter and stimulate further research.
Time: September 17th - 18th 2015
The seminar will take place from Thursday 17th (10.00) to Friday 18th (16.00)
Soria Moria Hotel – in Oslo, the capital of Norway
The language of the seminar will be English.
Everyone interested in the topics is welcome to attend. Previous topical meetings have turned out to be excellent arenas for international exchange
between doctors, nurses, psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and people with OI.
